So what happens when you call me up for a chat?
Firstly, fix me up with a long black, then we can sort out what you want to do. This diagram shows the stages of the consultancy process – described in full below.
A relaxed conversation about what it is you want to achieve. Think of your strategic goals, areas you’d like to save money, pain-points for your existing IT environment.
I’ll let you know what sort of services could help and approximate costs from this point on. If you’re interested in pursuing it further we organise a site visit to get down to the nitty gritty about how you work.
2. Site Visit
Demonstrate to me your current systems, and what’s causing you pain or inefficiency. I’ll make appropriate measurements and assessments and prescribe a list of services and a plan for rolling them out.
3. Implementation
I’ll get all the ducks in a row and return and start the roll out. Depending on your timeframe this can be done on a few test cases first and expanded over time. Hardware installations (for RocketBox and maybe new network hardware) can also be done at this time.
4. Training
Implementing cloud services is not a sales call and product drop-off. It often requires exploring new ways of working, new software to get used to and, let’s face it, nobody likes change. Training is an essential part of the process which lets you know how to implement new procedures, and let you know you’re not alone.
5. Review
In addition to training, on-going review of how you’re using your new services is a vital part of a healthy business. Fine tuning (and some coarse adjustments!) may be necessary over time to make sure you’re getting all the benefits you set out to achieve with your new life in the cloud.

We have a new on-going training and review course to get your business into the cloud. You could qualify to 50% off our NZTE Certified training programme. See here for more info.
